Captain Tim Adams
Charter Boat Double Time – Destin Deep Sea Fishing – Destin Florida Private Charter Boat Fishing
Captain Tim has over 32 years experience as a charter boat captain and SCUBA instructor, and has fished most of his life.
Destin Fishing Charters
Tim graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology, also becoming a PADI Scuba Instructor. In early 1986 Tim became “Captain Tim” upon earning his USCG 100 Ton Master’s License, and has been running boats ever since.
He has fished and dived the beautiful emerald green waters of Destin, since the early 1980’s. In addition, he has also fished and dove the waters of St. John in the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Panama, Puerto Rico, Bahamas and the Atlantic ocean.
Captain Tim enjoys taking both newcomers and experienced anglers alike. Teaching kids to fish and having them catch their first fish is always fun!
“Having a kid catch his first fish or watching an adult angler struggle to bring a sea monster up from the depths (if they can!) is a huge treat for me! I am always the one stopping the action for a moment to take a picture of my anglers and their fish, so they will have the memories forever.”

Included in Your Charter
Included
All charters include ice, all needed tackle, fishing license, instruction if needed, fish cleaning and bagging and any frozen or cut bait. Live bait is included if we catch it, which takes approximately 45 minutes (depending on several factors), or you may purchase it that morning out on the "bait banks" for $20-$30 for a four hour trip, $40-$50 for a six hour trip and $60 for an eight hour trip. Many people like to buy bait quickly and get underway to the fishing grounds while others enjoy catching the bait themselves, but catching the bait takes time so if the bait boat is out there and "packing", it is a better value to just buy it and head out, but that is up to the customer. Live bait usually has to be procured every morning as it doesn't survive overnight in the warm water of the Destin Harbor.
Not Included
Not included in the charter are snacks and drinks or gratuity, but there is always bottled water in the forward cooler for anyone who wants them.

Happy Anglers
Captain Tim was fantastic. I had been on a chartered trip before and took three “first time” teenagers for my son’s birthday. Simply put, Captain Tim was exceptional at handling 4 seperate fisherman while simultaneously piloting the boat. His experience and friendly demeanor made our trip as easy as we could ask for and he knew where to find the fish. I would absolutely recommend him for any small group wanting to fish the Gulf Coast.
I’ve been fishing in Florida numerous times, but this was by far the best I’ve been on. Captain Tim Adams was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and immediately put us on the fish, Spanish Mackeral, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper and Red Snapper!!! To bad the ratings only go to 5 starts because i would’ve given him so many more. The experience was OUTSTANDING!!!!
